AT THE CHINESE DANCE WORLD
Since 1999 Dirk Heidemann has had a leading position in the Chinese “Dance World”.
He was one of the most popular choreographers and art directors for the Presentation-Shows of China during the 2008 Olympic Games.
His dancesport musical The Red Skirt, with members of the Beijing Dance Academy, was a big success in 2001 and was copied several times.
Dirk Heidemann has appeared in more than ten talk and news shows on China Central Television (CCTV).

HIGHLIGHTS AT THE POLY THEATRE, PEKING WITH DIRK HEIDEMANN
Beijing Poly Theater, full name is the Beijing Poly Plaza International Theater, it has first-class facilities and management service in China. Designed by the well-known British TT International Stage Designing Company Ltd., The Theater can host performances of ballet, opera and concert as well as large-scale international conferences and film shows.
The Ministry of Culture graded it as a Type A theatre in 1998.

Dirk Heidemann, together with national sportsman Michael Eichert and GOC managing director Wilfried Scheible,
took part in successful discussions regarding the cooperation of the Chinese and German dance sports federations.
In addition to numerous meetings with senior representatives of the Chinese Ministry of Sport,
the Shaolin Monastery, the White Temple and the new centre of Beijing were visited.
For Dirk Heidemann, it was the 27th visit to China…
